(A WORK IN PROGRESS) I bet you are wondering who is behind this blog and why is this handsome man not getting paid to be put on the internet. Or maybe you are asking yourself why a boxing ring is a square, not a circle. Perhaps you googled “Vaseline,” but spelled it “Vessella” so my blog popped up. No matter how you got a hold of this website, I am very glad I have your attention.
Before I get into why I have this blog, let me tell you who I am. Thomas, Tommy, Tom, Tommy V, Vessella, Vasela, is here for a good time, not a long time. I am an almost 6-foot, buck 80, “thriving” college student with no agenda or idea with what to do with my life! I enjoy long walks on the beach, consuming large portions of food, lighting up a stogie every so often, and strive to be the ideal man.
I am currently living in Prague, the Czech Republic due to a Study Abroad program offered by Virginia Tech. An opportunity I would not be able to experience and share without my parent’s assistance. I am creating this blog for those who want to see how a 20-year-old, accompanied by his friends, can take on Europe within 3 months. It won’t be easy. I have already seen some struggles between delayed planes, messed up train schedules, a sinkhole within my bank account, and trying to give my friends a solid reason why I shouldn’t go out every night. The best way to get through these next few months, and life, is to understand that no matter where you are, adventure awaits. This will be an experience of a lifetime that will soon become one of the best memories I will ever have. Want to see how it goes? Well stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted.
